Return & Refund Policy — WAKE

Return Period

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. After this period, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in its original packaging with all included accessories.
  • Because WAKE is an electric watercraft, a unit that has been inflated and used in water, or that shows signs of use or wear, can only be returned if it is defective or arrived damaged (see below).
  • A valid proof of purchase is required.

Damaged or Defective on Arrival

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your WAKE arrives damaged or defective, contact us at contact@ownwake.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, clear photos, and a short video if possible. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

How to Start a Return

Email contact@ownwake.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will confirm eligibility and send you a return authorization along with the return shipping address. Please do not ship any item back before receiving return instructions from us — unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Change-of-mind returns: return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and any original shipping cost is non-refundable.
  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: WAKE covers the return shipping cost.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after inspection. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards.
  • Items returned without prior return authorization.
  • Items that are no longer in resalable condition due to use or damage occurring after delivery.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received an approved refund, first re-check your bank statement, then contact your card issuer, as posting times vary. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@ownwake.com.
